Apricot Kecskemet rose originates from Hungary, and was named after Kecskemet, where it was found. It belongs to the late varieties of apricots. Due to its late flowering, it avoids spring frosts well. It is quite resistant to diseases and has modest soil requirements. It is excellent for industrial processing.
