The Thornfree blackberry variety was created in America. The breeders are D.H.Scott and D.P. Ink. The parents are US 1410 (Brainerd x Merton Thornless) x US 1414 (Mertton Thornless x Eldorado). It has been in production since 1966. This blackberry variety was the leader in our country. It belongs to the best varieties of blackberries.
