Peach, including nectarine, is a fruit species of the warmer parts of the northern and southern hemispheres. It is considered that it can be grown wherever the vine grows. Nectarine is formed from peaches by mutation. They differ only in that the nectarine has a smooth, hairless skin. Both are extremely attractive because of their appearance and aroma, as well as because of the large amount of beta carotene in the fruit.

Peach originates from China. It dates back to 2000 BC. Even today, peaches are grown in large areas in China.

The spacing of planting peach seedlings and nectarine seedlings depends on the substrate and cultivation form. Standard cultivation forms such as vase-shapped or straight and irregular palemette shape go on 4.00-5.00 m x 2.00 – 4.00 m, up to the spindle bush there is a distance of 4.00-4.50 m x 1.50 x 2.50 m

Our peach seedlings are produced and grown in our nursery. The starting material, coil buds and rootstocks, for the production of peach seedlings benefits from our parent plantations, which are raised from peach seedlings of the base category. The basic planting material is from leading institutes from the Netherlands, Italy and Germany. The parent plantations are elongated in locations that have spatial isolation, as well as in specially protected areas, the so-called retinas that are protected with anti-insect nets. Thanks to this fact, we produce peach seedlings of the certified category and for seedlings we have all the certificates issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia.
