The origin of this apple variety is unknown. In the last century, it was grown a lot in these areas. In the period between the two world wars, Budimka was the most represented in exports, which then amounted to several thousands of tons. The tree is vigorous and strong. It starts giving crops quite late. But it can bear a up to 200 kg of aplles on one tree. The skin is greenish yellow with shades of red on the side of the fruit facing the sun. The flesh is whitish and firm, sweet to slightly sour. It ripens in October. It can be grown up to 800 m above sea level.
