Caberne sauvignon origin is from France, from around Bordeaux. It is grown all over the world. Through DNA analysis, it was determined that the Cabernet Sauvignon variety was created by crossing Cabernet Franc x Sauvignon varieties. The famous Bordeaux wine is made from several varieties. In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, it includes Cabernet Franc, Merlot and to a lesser extent Petit Verdot or Malbec.
