The July muscat variety was created in Hungary from the crossing of Bronnerstraube x Muscat otonel varieties. Matijas Janos performed the crossing. He gave the seeds to Shtak Adolf from the town of Bekescaba, who grow the seedlings and made a selection within them. It is believed that the variety originated in 1890. It is early table variety.

The cluster is medium large, 160 g, medium compact, with a shoulder. The berries are medium-sized, round in shape. |

The color of the skin is pale greenish, thin. The meat is juicy, slightly crispy, with a very fine nutmeg taste. |
