Sumatovka is one of the oldest varieties of apples that are present in our region. The origin is unknown. The tree is vigorous and branched. It is very resistant to diseases and pests. The fruits are reddish in color and slightly elongated. It ripens in October and keeps very well. The fruits are very firm and can remain on the tree even after the end of the growing season. Due to its resistance to diseases, it is also interesting for the production of organic food.
